The European Network for Young Cancer Survivors

The European Network for Young Cancer Survivors aka EU-CAYAS-NET was freshly launched in Barcelona when Childhood Cancer International (CCI) Europe came to us with a 3-layer brief.

CCI Europe needed a partner to 1. craft the project’s visual identity as soon as possible, 2. put together a social media strategy and 3. accompany them with the ideation and execution of a set of social media campaigns and activities during the 2 years of lifespan of the project.

About EU-CAYAS-NET?

EU-CAYAS-NET is a project led by patient advocates under one of the Flagship Initiatives of Europe’s Beating Cancer to build a European Network of Youth Cancer Survivors and to create a knowledge centre and interactive platform for social networking.

We delivered a tailored branding kit matching the newly built platform look and feel, and guidelines covering logo, template documents, social media visuals, a roll-up, and a leaflet; as well as a strategy including a market and audience audit and review, and a social media plan with activity ideas following the different project’s milestones.

We really enjoyed organising and leading a set of brainstorming and info-gathering workshop sessions with various groups of young cancer survivors and activists, where we grasped the ambition, the challenges and the opportunities surrounding the project.
